Job Requirements
- less than high school required
- must be at least 21 years of age and provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license and have a motor vehicle report if driving position
- able to follow detailed cleaning and safety protocols
- good communication skills
- able to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and maintenance
- preferred 6 months experience
Job Qualifications

- high school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months experience preferred
- clean driving record preferred for positions requiring driving
- must be at least 21 years of age and provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license and successfully complete defensive driving course for driving positions
Job Duties
- maintains cleanliness of patient care areas following established procedures sanitation protocols and achieves satisfaction and quality standards for room and common area cleaning
- executes checkout room cleaning per department guidelines disposes of hazardous and infectious waste in compliance with protocols
- performs morning and evening patient room rounds inspects room removes clutter empties trash refreshes bathroom responds to patient service requests for housekeeping services and hospitality support
- cleans common area space and waiting areas on the patient care unit stocks linen and housekeeping supplies
- cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned stages equipment for pickup monitors corridors and keeps free from clutter
- participates in patient safety rounding monitors patient for signs of distress alerts nursing personnel when intervention or clinical monitoring is required
- mixes chemicals according to directions to ensure optimum cleaning performs operation and preventative maintenance of equipment used by the department
- performs other duties as assigned
