Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Some experience preferred
- Ability to speak fluent English
- Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions in English
- Completion of the departmental training program within 30 days of employment
- Must demonstrate good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely use personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols

- Some experience in cleaning or healthcare environment preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple English instructions
- Completion of departmental training program within the first 30 days of employment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use Epic system for logging and managing assignments
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Perform the full range of restroom cleaning and patient room cleaning including regular, terminal, and isolation cleaning
- Follow infection prevention protocols and use the proper chemicals for cleaning tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of walls, doors, glass/windows, furniture, equipment, floors including dust mopping, wet mopping, and cleaning corners and edges
- Properly remove trash and linen following waste stream guidelines for solid, bio-waste, chemotherapy, and pharmaceutical waste
- Consistently use correct personal protective equipment and proper lifting techniques
- Follow protocols for safe use of Ultra Violet Light equipment
- Exhibit positive customer service skills and interact effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
