Job Requirements
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions in English
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
- Submission of resume with previous work history or complete employment history on application
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and oral directions in English
- Physically capable of lifting and moving weights up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, surgical and procedural areas, laboratories, offices, and halls
- Maintain and order necessary supplies and cleaning equipment
- Observe and ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous waste
- Follow hospital infection control protocols including COVID-19 cleaning procedures
- Utilize provided PPE and adhere to safety training guidelines
- Assist in maintaining a safe and hygienic hospital environment
- Report any maintenance or supply concerns to management
