Job Requirements
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions in English
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
- Applicants must submit resume with previous work history or complete employment history on application
- Ability to work full-time on variable shifts
- Willingness to comply with PPE and COVID-19 safety measures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and oral directions in English
- Ability to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining hospital cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, surgical and procedural areas
- Maintain and order necessary cleaning supplies and equipment
- Observe proper handling and disposal of biohazardous waste
- Follow PPE and safety protocols especially related to COVID-19 precautions
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment
- Communicate effectively by following written and oral instructions
- Participate in hospital safety and infection control training
