Job Requirements

  • Must be able to follow written and oral directions in English
  • Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to follow written and oral directions in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Cleans and disinfects hospital patient rooms, surgical and procedural areas, laboratories, offices, and public halls
  • Maintains supplies and orders necessary cleaning equipment
  • Observes proper handling and disposal of biohazardous waste
  • Utilizes personal protective equipment in compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols
  • Ensures adherence to hospital cleaning and infection control standards
  • Assists in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Reports equipment malfunctions or hazards to supervisors
