- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, surgical areas, procedural areas, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other designated areas
- Maintain supplies and order necessary equipment as needed
- Observe and follow proper handling and disposal protocols for biohazardous waste
- Comply with COVID-19 cleaning protocols including cleaning of COVID-19 patient rooms
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively to ensure safety
- Participate in training and education programs related to EVS duties
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to supervisors
