Job Requirements
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions in English
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
- Applicants must submit resume with previous work history or complete employment history on application to be considered
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and oral directions in English
- Capable of lifting and moving 10 to 50 pounds as required
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, surgical and procedural areas, bathrooms, laboratories, offices, and hallways
- Maintain supplies and order necessary equipment
- Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste
- Use personal protective equipment as required
- Follow infection control protocols including COVID-19 precautions
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure cleanliness standards
- Complete cleaning duties within assigned shift hours
