  • A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience
  • Ability to communicate at a level which allows for safe and efficient job performance
  • Ability to utilize supplies, tools, and equipment safely and properly

Job Duties

  • Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks
  • Work with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise
  • Assist with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping and notify supervisor when refill orders are needed
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
  • Keep bathrooms stocked with supplies
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and order more as needed
