Job Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience in hospital or hotel cleaning
  • Must be available to work shifts between 7:00am-11:30pm including occasional weekends with two-week notice
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including cleaning and lifting
  • Must be able to relocate to Flower Mound, TX before starting work
  • Must be able to commute to Flower Mound, TX 75028
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months of hospital or hotel experience strongly preferred
  • 1 year hospital cleaning experience required
  • 1 year hotel cleaning experience required
  • Ability to work day, night and overnight shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Empty, clean and reline trash containers
  • Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials
  • Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff
  • Clean restrooms, restocking dispensers
  • Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets
  • Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the Environmental Services department
  • Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer including removal of clinical support equipment, supplies, and soiled linen
  • Follow-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff
