Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 6 months of hospital or hotel cleaning experience required
- Ability to work flexible PRN rotating schedule including days, nights and occasional weekends
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Flower Mound, TX 75028
- Ability to follow hospital policies and procedures
- Must be physically able to perform cleaning duties
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 6 months hospital or hotel experience strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies preferred
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Empty, clean and reline trash containers
- Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials
- Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff
- Clean restrooms, restocking dispensers
- Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets
- Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the EVS department
- Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen
- Follow-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff
