Job Duties
- clean and disinfect various hospital areas to maximize infection prevention and enhance patient safety
- replenish supplies and prepare patient rooms including making beds and cleaning floors
- collect, store, and dispose of medical-related waste in compliance with safety standards
- perform project work such as cleaning carpets and refrigerators
- maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
- adhere to confidentiality and professionalism at all times
