Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to communicate and interface effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
- able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate by telephone
- able to stand and walk throughout the day
- must be able to lift up to 50lb
- able to work evening shifts Monday to Friday with every other weekend
- willingness to handle blood and bodily fluids using personal protective equipment
- ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and twist frequently

Job Duties
- clean and disinfect hospital areas to maximize infection prevention
- prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, and making beds
- collect, store, and dispose of medical-related waste from patient treatment areas
- perform project work such as cleaning carpets and refrigerators
- maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety standards
- communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors
- comply with safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
