Job Requirements
- able to communicate and interface effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to follow written and verbal instructions
- able to stand and walk throughout the day
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- comfortable working around blood and bodily fluids using personal protective equipment
- able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and twist frequently

- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety standards
- experience with cleaning and disinfecting in healthcare or similar settings is a plus
- ability to operate cleaning equipment

- comfortable handling blood and bodily fluids with appropriate protective equipment
Job Duties
- clean and disinfect various hospital areas to prevent infection
- prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies and making beds
- collect, store, and dispose of medical-related waste
- perform special cleaning projects such as carpets and refrigerators
- maintain cleanliness of floors and surfaces
- follow safety and infection control protocols
- communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors
