  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • able to initiate communication with peers about task priorities

Job Duties

  • provide a clean and safe environment for staff, visitors, and patients
  • clean and disinfect various hospital areas to prevent infection
  • prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, and making beds
  • collect, store, and dispose of medical-related waste
  • perform project cleaning such as cleaning carpets and refrigerators
  • communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
  • comply with safety standards and use personal protective equipment
