Job Duties
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting and disinfecting rooms throughout the hospital
- participating in project work including wall washing, window cleaning, light fixture cleaning, upholstery cleaning, changing cubicle curtains and drapes, cleaning vents, scrubbing restrooms, floor stripping, and carpet extracting
- performing routine, repetitive cleaning tasks consistently
- responding to immediate cleaning needs while considering the presence of patients, staff, and visitors
- complying with safety policies and procedures
- reporting unsafe working conditions or hazards promptly
- working under supervision to complete standardized cleaning duties
