Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and walking
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to undergo background screening as required by state regulations
- Residency within the state where the community operates
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks on schedule
Job Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and perfectionism in cleaning
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety standards
Job Duties
- Clean assigned resident rooms and common areas guided by a daily task sheet
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room area ensuring a pleasant mealtime ambiance
- Develop meaningful relationships and contribute to the happiness and comfort of elderly residents
- Deliver exceptional service while maintaining a comfortable and unhurried pace
- Maintain hygiene and order in all work areas
- Follow community policies and procedures related to cleanliness and safety
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
