Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade proficiency level
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Must be physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart
  • Good physical health verified by a recent health screening
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis
  • Must be criminally cleared

Job Duties

  • Provide housekeeping services for residents' rooms to ensure cleanliness and comfort
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas such as lobby and employee break rooms
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manage and push wheeled housekeeping carts
  • Ensure all areas are tidy and that items are properly placed
  • Follow safety and health regulations including health screenings and tuberculosis testing
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and team members
