Job Requirements

- ability to perform cleaning duties as assigned
- knowledge of safe chemical handling
- ability to follow infection control standards
- reliability and strong work ethic
- ability to complete required training modules
- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- prior experience in healthcare or hospital cleaning preferred
- knowledge of infection prevention techniques
- ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- perform proper cleaning techniques and procedures when cleaning patient rooms offices and other designated areas within the Carle organization
- demonstrate procedural knowledge of safe chemical handling and use and disposal of biohazard materials
- perform all housekeeping duties with the special needs of patients and staff in mind
- demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention techniques and proper hand hygiene
- clean equipment and notify leadership of equipment needing repair
- complete required annual LMS training modules
- follow written department goals and objectives and review annually with department leadership
