Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to clean technical areas including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED
- Ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift and transport patients in emergencies
- Physical ability to reach, stand for long periods, squat, bend, carry or lift supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs or more up to 80% of the time
- Ability to climb ladders
- Must be able to wear protective equipment including gowns, gloves, goggles, closed-toe footwear
- Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
- No experience required

- Ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift and transport patients
- Physical capability to perform tasks including reaching, standing, squatting, bending, and carrying up to 35 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Must wear required protective gear
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
- No prior experience required
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient units, office areas, clinics, and treatment/procedural areas
- Remove refuse and soiled linens
- Operate light floor cleaning equipment in patient care areas
- Perform technical cleaning in specialized areas such as IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, and ED
- Lift and transport patients during emergencies
- Wear required protective equipment and clothing
- Climb ladders and handle physical tasks such as lifting supplies weighing up to 35 lbs
