Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of infection control techniques
  • Familiarity with life safety codes
  • Experience in healthcare cleaning preferred
  • Ability to perform light floor care
  • Proficiency in chemical spill cleanup
  • Strong communication skills for patient interaction
  • Ability to handle biohazards safely

Job Duties

  • Clean specialty areas including NICU, L&D, CCU, ED, OR
  • Perform light floor care work including buffing and spotting carpet
  • Understand all procedures for life safety codes
  • Clean chemical and medicine spills including USP 800
  • Use AIDET in patient rooms
  • Demonstrate knowledge of infection control techniques and proper hand hygiene
  • Handle biohazards including safe handling of sharps and biohazard body fluid spills
