Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
ability to understand and apply safe effective housekeeping practices
team player mindset
familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
ability to report hazardous conditions promptly

Job Qualifications

Thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the State of Indiana
ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
high school diploma or GED preferred but not required

Job Duties

Follow established housekeeping guidelines and quality assurance standards
maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
coordinate routine and terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and follow established safety procedures and precautions
report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately
honor the residents' personal and property rights
file complaints or grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
