Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work full-time including every other weekend and alternating holidays
- Commitment to adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Related experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated teamwork ethic
- Ability to meet prescribed performance competencies within allotted time frames
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal
- Maintain cleanliness by replenishing soaps, sanitizers, and other supplies
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs from staff and residents
- Assist with laundry duties following infection control procedures and safety standards
- Ensure patient, non-patient, and public areas are orderly, safe, sanitary, and attractive
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and complete required competencies within scheduled time frames
