Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year experience in environmental services preferred
- availability to work full-time evening shifts
- physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance duties
- adherence to hospital policies and safety guidelines
- ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of environmental services experience preferred
- ability to follow hospital cleaning protocols and procedures
- attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- good communication skills
- ability to work evening shifts and rotate weekends and holidays
- capability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned hospital areas in a neat, sanitary, and attractive condition according to established policies and procedures
- use proper equipment, cleaning materials, supplies, and cleaning solutions according to procedure
- complete daily cleaning checklists and submit to the Director or crew leader at the end of the shift
- sweep, damp mop, and wax floors
- vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies
- dust furniture, wash walls, equipment, and high-touch areas according to departmental policies
