- minimum one year experience in environmental services preferred
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- ability to stand walk and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
- ability to follow instructions and comply with safety procedures
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to work flexible hours if needed

Job Duties
- cleans and maintains assigned area of the hospital in a neat orderly sanitary and attractive condition according to established policies and procedures
- uses proper equipment cleaning materials supplies and cleaning solutions according to procedure
- completes daily checklist and submits it to the director or crew leader at the end of the shift
- sweeps damp mops and waxes floors
- vacuums rugs carpets upholstery and draperies
- dusts furniture and washes walls equipment and high touch areas
