Job Requirements

  • One year of experience in related area of assignment
  • Successful completion of drug screening
  • TB evaluation
  • Annual influenza vaccination or approved exemption
  • Ability to work day shift
  • Compliance with state and national background checks required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in related area of assignment
  • Ability to operate hand tools and cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance and repair
  • Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities
  • Maintain supplies as needed
  • Clean and straighten assigned areas
  • Collect, sort, launder, transport and distribute linens and uniforms
  • Ensure laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
  • Maintain and stock equipment and supplies as needed
  • Mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair
  • Observe required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
  • Operate hand tools and power cleaning equipment
  • Participate in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens and other items
  • Press and store all linens
