Job Requirements
- One year of experience in related area of assignment
- Or one year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 1 or position equivalent
- Drug screening
- TB evaluation
- Annual influenza vaccination with limited exemptions for medical contraindications or religious beliefs
- Background check as required by state law

Job Duties
- Performs duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities
- Maintains supplies as needed
- Cleans and straightens assigned areas
- Collects, sorts, launders, transports and distributes linens and uniforms
- Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
- Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed
- Mends linens and assists in preventative maintenance and repair
- Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
- Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
- Participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items
- Presses and stores all linens
