Job Requirements

One year of experience in related area of assignment
Drug screening
Tuberculosis evaluation
Annual influenza vaccination (with limited exemptions)
Ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
Compliance with state background check
Employment eligibility to work in the State of Georgia
Willingness to follow safety and health protocols

Job Qualifications

One year of experience in related area of assignment
Experience at the lower level Housekeeper 1 or equivalent position
Ability to operate hand tools and power cleaning equipment
Knowledge of safety precautions related to sanitation and refuse disposal
Ability to mend and alter linens and clothing
Basic understanding of laundry and housekeeping procedures

Job Duties

Performs duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities
Maintains supplies as needed
Cleans and straightens assigned areas
Collects, sorts, launders, transports and distributes linens and uniforms
Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed
Mends linens and assists in preventative maintenance and repair
Observes safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
Participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items
Presses and stores all linens
