Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged
  • willingness to be trained in cleaning procedures necessary to maintain the facility beyond standard cleanliness sanitation and safety levels

Job Duties

  • clean all support areas including offices and meeting spaces
  • pull trash from all trash cans daily including bathrooms
  • dust and sanitize furniture and fixtures daily and high-dust walls weekly
  • clean floors by vacuuming carpets dust mopping and damp mopping tile floors daily
  • clean windows and glass daily
  • clean and maintain all occupied resident rooms daily as assigned
  • pull trash from resident rooms including bathrooms
  • clean resident room bathrooms including sink toilet and shower
  • clean resident beds from top to bottom
  • clean and sanitize all resident room furniture
  • check all supplies and re-stock as needed including paper towels toilet paper soap and hand soap
  • clean and maintain all discharged resident rooms daily according to guidelines
  • report any maintenance problems or deficiencies to the Housekeeping Laundry Supervisor
