Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • past cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • attention to detail
  • ability to respond effectively to changing demands
  • able to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • willing to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • adapt to customer needs
  • maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner
  • inspect and use judgment in determining appropriate cleaning techniques
  • demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions
  • disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides
  • diligently employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
  • keep cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition
  • promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships and maintain professional conduct
  • assist in improving productivity and efficient departmental operations
  • demonstrate commitment to professional growth and adhere to training commitments
