Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent
- prior experience in healthcare environmental services preferred
- ability to work per diem variable evening shifts
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- healthcare environmental services experience preferred
- understanding of proper sanitation and infection control practices
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- perform a variety of cleaning tasks in assigned areas
- complete non-routine housekeeping duties as required
- ensure that the Medical Center is provided with a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees
- maintain patient rooms, public areas and staff spaces in a sanitary condition
- comply with infection control and safety guidelines
- restock housekeeping supplies and equipment
- report maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel
