Job Requirements
- One year of experience as a lead worker in a related area or one year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 2 or equivalent
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Pass pre-employment and post-employment background investigations including Georgia state and national criminal records search
Job Qualifications
- Experience with a janitorial or housekeeping firm or owner/operator of a small company involved with this business
- Experience or training in the receipt and handling of chemicals in accordance with published material safety data sheets
- Two or more years of experience working with minimal supervision in a janitorial or housekeeping position preferred
- Valid State of Georgia driver’s license preferred
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Routine cleaning of offices, classrooms, restrooms and common areas
- Maintaining inventory levels of supplies and materials
- Traveling state-wide as required
- Handling chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Reporting maintenance or supply needs
