Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members
- Must complete state-required employment screening process
- Residency within the state is required as a condition of employment
Job Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop rapport with elderly residents
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Clean assigned resident rooms and common areas following a daily task sheet
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room area to ensure a pleasant mealtime environment
- Develop meaningful relationships with elderly residents to contribute to their happiness and comfort
- Deliver exceptional customer service maintaining a comfortable and unhurried pace
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Support team members in maintaining overall community cleanliness and order
