Job Duties
- Change bed linen daily
- vacuum carpeting
- dust all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers
- remove fingerprints and smudges on mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows
- thoroughly clean bathroom area including shower stall, sink, floor, toilet
- ensure compliance with standard room set-up
- report all damages found in rooms immediately
- report missing items in room promptly
- report personal guest items found in vacant rooms and turn in immediately
- notify management of rollaway beds or cribs for pick-up and storage
- take responsibility for pass key and ensure it is turned in daily
- report no luggage, no service needed, sleep outs, extra guests, and anything unusual to Head Housekeeper
- shut off lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving rooms
- assist in additional cleaning chores assigned
- maintain and stock housekeeping carts
- carry trash to dumpsters as required
- log maintenance issues while inspecting rooms
- participate in deep cleaning with head housekeeper and maintenance
- assist head housekeeper with work-related issues
- follow hotel franchise procedures
- adhere to all training requirements set by management and franchise
