Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily according to facility protocols
- use proper chemicals in proper portions for cleaning
- mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets
- empty trash containers and replace liners appropriately
- report repair needs to supervisor or maintenance
- request needed supplies and equipment from supervisor
- identify and correct safety hazards and abide by safety rules
- attend weekly in-services and comply with patient care management systems
- perform other duties and tasks as assigned
