Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- ability to wear protective equipment and clothing required such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear
- physical ability to reach, stand for long periods, squat, bend, carry or lift supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs or more
- ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- ability to climb ladders
- ability to clean technical areas including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED

Job Duties
- Provides cleaning and sanitizing services to support a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, offices, clinics, clinical and procedural areas, and public spaces
- supports patient safety through consistent and high-quality service
- demonstrates ability to support the cleaning and disinfection of high-acuity clinical and procedural areas
- applies disinfection protocols and utilizes approved cleaning tools in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policy
- conducts hazardous and biohazardous waste removal in compliance with safety regulations and infection prevention protocols
- proactively communicates and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure cleaning processes support patient safety and care flow
