- one year of experience in related area of assignment
- or one year of experience at the lower level housekeeper 1 fes040 or position equivalent

Job Duties
- perform any combination of duties to maintain order sanitation and cleanliness in facilities
- maintain supplies as needed
- clean and straighten assigned areas
- collect sort launder transport and distribute linens and uniforms
- ensure laundry housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
- maintain and stock equipment and supplies as needed
- mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair
- observe required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
- operate hand tools and power cleaning equipment
- participate in making marking altering and mending of clothing linens and other items
- press and store all linens
