Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
- physical fitness to perform manual labor for extended periods
- willingness to work overtime and alternate shifts
- ability to comply with background check and university policies

- knowledge of the safe and effective use of cleaning solutions

Job Duties
- perform semi-skilled and skilled cleaning duties at Audrey Geisel University House
- operate vacuum cleaners and floor machines
- damp/dust mop, sweep, vacuum, wax and buff floors
- polish and empty trash
- move and arrange furniture
- wash windows
- clean rooms, furniture, bathrooms, kitchen, and appliances
- perform specialized cleaning for a historical residence
- assist in preparations for official functions and events
- safeguard assigned keys and custodial supplies and equipment
- report building, equipment, and supplies needs
- respond to routine and emergency work requests
- provide customer service to residents and guests
- maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding activities and privacy at the residence
