Job Requirements
- Must have prior experience in housekeeping or facilities role
- Experience with senior care environments preferred
- Ability to perform cleaning duties safely and efficiently
- Willingness to handle cleaning chemicals with proper safety precautions
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to communicate respectfully with residents and team members
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus, specifically in a multi-unit environment
- Experience working with the senior population is helpful, specifically in a healthcare environment
- Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Clean, straighten and pick up trash in common areas, offices and public rest rooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture and replenishing soap and paper products
- Clean, straighten and pick up trash in resident rooms including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors and surfaces, replenishing soap and paper products
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors on a routine basis
- Ensure that apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable and attractive manner, keeping residents' personal items safe
- Clean spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed
- Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedure
- Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned
