Job Requirements

  • Must have prior experience in housekeeping or facilities role
  • Experience with senior care environments preferred
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties safely and efficiently
  • Willingness to handle cleaning chemicals with proper safety precautions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with residents and team members

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus, specifically in a multi-unit environment
  • Experience working with the senior population is helpful, specifically in a healthcare environment
  • Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Clean, straighten and pick up trash in common areas, offices and public rest rooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture and replenishing soap and paper products
  • Clean, straighten and pick up trash in resident rooms including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors and surfaces, replenishing soap and paper products
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors on a routine basis
  • Ensure that apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable and attractive manner, keeping residents' personal items safe
  • Clean spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed
  • Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedure
  • Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned
