Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or assisted living facility preferred
- Ability to work full-time Tuesday through Saturday from 6am to 2pm
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and light repair tasks
- Ability to follow safety and infection prevention guidelines
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in housekeeping at a hotel or assisted living is preferred
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 6am to 2pm
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow infection prevention and safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift required weights
- Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents
Job Duties
- Complete cleaning lists as published in both resident rooms and common areas as assigned by the DES
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established housekeeping standards
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash
- Launder, fold, and distribute linens and personal laundry while following proper infection control procedures
- Report any needed repairs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns to supervisors promptly
- Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Assist residents with room organization or light tasks as needed while maintaining dignity and respect
- Collaborate with care staff to support a clean, comfortable, and home-like environment for all residents
- Complete room "changeovers" before and after resident moves to include minor repairs and painting
