Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or assisted living facility preferred
  • Ability to work full-time Tuesday through Saturday from 6am to 2pm
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and light repair tasks
  • Ability to follow safety and infection prevention guidelines
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in housekeeping at a hotel or assisted living is preferred
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 6am to 2pm
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to follow infection prevention and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift required weights
  • Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents

Job Duties

  • Complete cleaning lists as published in both resident rooms and common areas as assigned by the DES
  • Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established housekeeping standards
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash
  • Launder, fold, and distribute linens and personal laundry while following proper infection control procedures
  • Report any needed repairs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets to ensure adequate inventory levels
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Assist residents with room organization or light tasks as needed while maintaining dignity and respect
  • Collaborate with care staff to support a clean, comfortable, and home-like environment for all residents
  • Complete room "changeovers" before and after resident moves to include minor repairs and painting
