Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior experience necessary as training will be provided
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- willingness to work flexible hours if needed
Job Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and ability to be trained
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- positive and respectful attitude towards seniors
- basic understanding of cleaning procedures is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform daily and/or weekly cleaning as directed by supervisor
- dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash and cleaning kitchenettes
- demonstrate safe and proper technique for chemical/cleaning solution use
- stock housekeeping carts properly
- ensure cleanliness of community areas
- follow safety guidelines while performing duties
- maintain a respectful and helpful attitude towards senior residents
