Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to reliable transportation including on snow days
- Working email and phone for communication
- Ability to pass a background check
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to provide care for all clients including physical tasks such as using mechanical lifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and with compassion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn and undergo training for mechanical lift use
Job Duties
- Provide companionship to elderly clients
- Perform light housework and tidy client living areas
- Prepare meals according to client dietary needs
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Use mechanical lifts such as Hoyer or stand-aid for client transfers when required
- Maintain professional and trustworthy behavior
- Communicate effectively with clients and family members
