Job Requirements
- Flexible availability three to four days per week including weekends
- Ability to work approximately 20 to 30 hours per week
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to communicate with grace and respect
- Physical ability to handle tasks such as walking stairs lifting up to 75 pounds stooping kneeling and prolonged standing
- Ability to follow schedules and lists efficiently
- Willingness to work in a historic building environment
Job Qualifications
- Six months related experience and or training preferred but not required
- Ability to read simple words and comprehend basic sentences
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and perform operations with American money measurement volume and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and guest service skills
Job Duties
- Cleaning guest rooms including making beds vacuuming and dusting
- Restocking amenities and ensuring a pristine presentation
- Cleaning common areas as needed
- Processing laundry washing drying folding
- Walking up and down three flights of stairs multiple times per day as our building is historic
- Greeting guests with eye contact sincere smile and personal greeting
- Reporting substandard conditions including potential safety hazards to management
