Job Requirements

  • Responsible and high level of integrity
  • Efficient and quick worker with high standards
  • Ability to follow schedules and lists
  • Must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays
  • Weekend availability required
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple tasks
  • Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
  • Willingness to work in a moderate noise and outdoor environment occasionally
  • Must adhere to safety procedures at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of related experience or training preferred
  • Ability to communicate politely and professionally with guests
  • Ability to follow schedules, checklists, and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
  • Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
  • Exceptional interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a hospitality setting

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with eye contact and a sincere smile
  • Clean guest rooms, lobby, corridors, stairways, garage, trash, deck and patio areas
  • Replace guest supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies
  • Remove soiled bath linens and replace with fresh linens
  • Make up beds with clean linens
  • Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors as directed
  • Ask guests if they need anything else when cleaning occupied rooms
  • Empty and clean wastebaskets, transport trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Report substandard conditions and safety hazards to management
  • Do not open doors for guests without front desk verification
  • Turn in lost and found articles to front office
  • Perform duties quietly and orderly to ensure guest comfort
  • Lock doors and windows when leaving rooms
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely according to established procedures
