Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
- no licenses or certifications required
- cleared to work following state-specific background check requirements
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job
- ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and facility staff
- knowledge of infection control techniques
- ability to be patient and polite
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, and bathrooms
- safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them securely
- label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
- ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts
- perform other tasks as assigned
- conduct job responsibilities in accordance with company code of business conduct, policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards
