Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move light to moderate weights
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with good attendance
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders at one time

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check heat system filters, change bed linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Courteously review menu, take orders, serve meals and desserts, return cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishables, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes, reset tables following sanitizing guidelines, vacuum carpets
- Complete side work including replenishing sugar holders, creamers, and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
