Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Friendly and courteous demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies in resident apartments
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments with special attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder linens by washing and drying in provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at tables and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Review menu with residents, take orders, and serve meals and desserts
- Assist with storage of perishable items and deliver trays to resident rooms when needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals, sanitize tables and chairs, and vacuum carpets
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffeemakers
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
