Job Requirements

  • Must be physically able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 45 lbs independently and over 45 lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and reach frequently
  • Must have experience with use of cleaning agents and chemicals
  • Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work in indoor and occasional outdoor environments
  • Must be able to handle the physical demands of cleaning duties
  • Initial and ongoing on-the-job training completion

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of inventory and restocking procedures
  • Proficiency in cleaning techniques for different furniture and furnishings
  • Experience using industrial cleaning tools and equipment
  • Ability to identify maintenance problems
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills

Job Duties

  • Work independently to clean and maintain assigned rooms
  • Restock inventory and supplies in guest rooms
  • Use proper cleaning techniques for various furniture and furnishing types
  • Operate cleaning tools including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and buffers
  • Identify maintenance issues and report them promptly
  • Alert management to guest treatment problems
  • Make decisions regarding property and supplies such as damaged furniture and linen
