Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift and carry items up to 45 lbs independently and heavier with assistance
- physical stamina for standing, bending, stooping, and moving heavy objects
- ability to work part-time hours at Marine Corps Base Hawaii
- willingness to adhere to safety policies and procedures
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- high school diploma or equivalent

- knowledge of room inventory and supply restocking
- proficiency with cleaning techniques for various furniture and furnishings
- skilled in use of cleaning tools and industrial cleaning equipment
- ability to identify maintenance problems and report accordingly

- knowledge of fire, safety, and security requirements
Job Duties
- perform housekeeping and custodial duties in assigned locations including standard rooms and villas
- make beds and change linens
- vacuum, mop, sweep, and dust rooms and common areas
- clean guest bathrooms including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and walls
- polish furniture and shampoo upholstery in rooms and common areas
- maintain kitchen areas by cleaning appliances and washing dishes
- empty trash cans and dispose of waste
- take inventory of furnishings and report maintenance issues
- meet and provide excellent customer service
- follow safety regulations and report hazards
- perform miscellaneous duties such as moving heavy furniture and minor equipment repairs
