Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently
  • ability to lift objects over 45lbs with assistance
  • physically able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift frequently
  • able to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • current driver’s license recommended
  • ability to work indoors under normal conditions
  • willingness to use cleaning chemicals safely
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of carpets and furniture
  • ability to handle and control heavy powered equipment
  • knowledge of proper uses of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
  • ability to remove stains from multiple surfaces
  • good oral and written communication skills
  • ability to read and understand directions
  • strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Perform proper care and maintenance of carpets and furniture
  • handle and control heavy powered equipment
  • use a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions effectively
  • remove different kinds of stains from a variety of surfaces
  • read and understand directions on labels and printed instructions
  • anticipate needs of guests and clients
  • communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
