Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift frequently
- capability to move heavy furniture with assistance
- knowledge of safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work 24/7 shifts including holidays
- willingness to adhere to federal employment policies including drug-free workplace
- a current driver’s license is recommended
- successful completion of National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI)
- capability to perform physical tasks involving heavy equipment

Job Duties
- Make beds and change linens
- thoroughly clean guest rooms including dusting, waxing, polishing furniture
- sweep floors, vacuum, and shampoo rugs
- empty wastebaskets and sanitize lavatories
- wash walls and windows using a ladder
- dust drapes, blinds, and window coverings
- turn mattresses and sanitize fixtures and bedding
- service each room daily with soap, cups, coffee, etc
- report missing or broken articles to supervisor
- occasionally scrub, strip, wax, and polish floors using powered equipment
- move heavy furniture with assistance
- provide meaningful customer service emphasizing courtesy
- assist customers and communicate positively
- solve problems quickly and escalate when necessary
- adhere to safety regulations and standards
- report workplace hazards, injuries, or damages
- support EEO principles and prevent sexual harassment
- perform other related duties as assigned
